The Company in collaboration with Jamaica Customs will be introducing several customer focused initiatives in the coming weeks that are part of our overall programme to significantly improve your experience here at Kingston Wharves (KW). The initiatives will be introduced on a phased basis to ultimately provide a more efficient and simplified process where you may conveniently and comfortably receive your cargo. The centralization of the Customs Manifest to our Customer Lobby, formerly known as the Recreational Room, located to the right of the main pedestrian entrance to the berths, is one such initiative.
The centralized Customs Manifest is complimented by the company’s now automated customer service process that produces a KW Service Number used by our operations team to mobilize resources for locating and preparing your cargo for inspection ahead of your arrival to the berths. Please feel free to ask our Customer Service and Security Personnel on-site for any additional information and instructions whilst proceeding to the berths.
It is the Company’s intention to implement as many of the customer focused initiatives in the coming weeks so as to remove much of the hassle associated the upcoming busy period. Regular updates will be emailed to you and posted on our website as the project progresses.
